Founded in 1990 as an environmental education program, Nature Quest provides schools, youth groups and adults with outdoor adventure activities that provide opportunities for individuals to step out of their comfort zone, with the encouragement of their peers, to try new and exciting things.
By moving the classroom outdoors, our Science, Social Studies and Language Arts exercises instill a hands-on compassion for our natural surroundings.
Our challenge-oriented ventures aim to instill a stronger respect for self, while team projects focus on participants’ need to work as a group.
Each member of your group will return home armed with leadership skills that will help them succeed throughout their lives.

"Must we always teach . . . with books?
Let them look at the mountains and the stars above.
Let them look at the beauty of the waters
and the trees and the flowers of the earth.
They will then begin to think, and to think
is the beginning of real education."
